LIVE THE ADVENTURE

WE WANT A SAFE AND FAIR RACE – THE FOLLOWING LIST IS THE MOST OBVIOUS ITEMS. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING YOU FEEL MAY BE NOT BE ALLOWED OR WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST AN EXCEPTION BE MADE – PLEASE EMAIL US, OR ASK AT OUR OPENING CONFERENCE. ALSO THIS WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE A WETSUIT RACE….

 

AID

This is point to point race, with no assistance allowed by crew or team members. We will have 4 Full Aid Stations (Water, Power Aide, Watermelon, Bananas, Cliff Mini, Cliff Blocks and Cliff Gel-Shots) We will have 2 WATER ONLY Aid Stations. (Please review Aid Station Slides) All other aid, etc needs to be carried on you. No outside assistance allowed.

 

SWIM ASSISTANCE

NO hand paddles, snorkels, pool buoys, flotation devices or fins allowed. Goggles only (Note: you will be provided a “Pull” buoy for your gear - Pull Bouy must stay with you in case of emergency)


SWIM BIB

Please note: No bare torsos. You will also be provided a swim bib. It must be worn AT ALL TIME AFTER T1. This is for timing & tracking, take it slow at Transitions so we can ensure your timed properly. If you take off your bib you DNF

 

COURSE

Stay on the course, it will be well marked, any intentional wondering off course will result in penalty or Disqualification. For bike portion, ROAD IS CLOSED, All passing must be done on left, NO DRAFTING ALLOWED

SOS TRADITION STANDING RULE: WHAT YOU START WITH YOU MUST FINISH WITH. LEAVE NOTHING.
